Nebraska & South Dakota Styled Wedding ShootRead More
This Nebraska Sandhills wedding turned out to be the cutest little Fall gathering I've been to in awhile! I mean, you can't go wrong with sunflowers and little pumpkin cake toppers (totes adorbs, right?!). And Allison's dress from Ellynne Bridal...I was kinda obsessed with it. Timeless, gorgeous, perfect for her :-)

Robin & Zach weren't about to let some rain put a damper on their wedding day. Their love trumps any kind of weather!
When my sister-in-law, Tiffany, got engaged to her English boyfriend, you can bet I dreamed non-stop about their wedding pictures. When would I ever have this opportunity literally right down the road from my house?!?! The thing is, this wedding day far surpassed anything my imagination could've dreamed of. It was perfect. I mean it. I felt like I was transported to England, ha! I had to double check a few times with all the English accents echoing around me ;-)
The bride and her London housemates, as well as numerous friends and family, gathered together the week of the wedding to make this DIY event happen. I'd say they pulled it off.
An amazing artist and fellow photographer, Debs (Deborah Grace Photography), allowed me to photograph this day with her. Debs has been Tiffany's housemate the last 3 years and I'm honored to know of her. If you're ever in England and in need of photography, I highly recommend her.
I definitely went overboard in posting so many pictures, I apologize, but not really ;-)

Chelsie is a portrait and wedding photographer based in Nebraska but is available for travel. Some of the places she's been fortunate enough to photograph at are:
Rapid City, South Dakota
Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Cedar Rapids, Nebraska
Broken Bow, Nebraska
When this couple said they were getting married at Smith Falls, I could not have been happier!! It's one of the prettiest places in Nebraska in my humble opinion ;-) And to top it off, we had the best Spring day- not too hot and enough of a breeze to keep the bugs away. Check it out...
You might remember these two from the surprise proposal I photographed back in October (view their movie here). They chose October 14, 2017 as their wedding date and I'm so darn excited! These two drove over 4 hours to little ol' Merriman for their engagement session and also brought their dogs AND race car! Yes, I said race car. My "job" is never boring I tell ya ;-)
I was so distracted by the cuteness overload from these two that I realized we had less than 10 minutes to unload the race car from the trailer and do an outfit change for sunset pictures. Panic mode set in (I was genuinely worried we were going to miss the sun and 4 hours of hauling a race car across Nebraska was going to be all in vain!). Oh, what little faith I had. My couples are like no others. They rallied and seriously, got the most AMAZING photographs right at sunset. My dreams came true. Take a look...
(And yes, there is a Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Crazy.)

To say this family means a lot to me would be an understatement. I absolutely LOVE having them just down the road (6 miles or so is "just down the road" around here). Robin keeps me sane living in the middle of nowhere and I get to live the large family life through them, so it works out perfectly ;-)
We had fun wondering around their little town (yes, they own a town as well...they're just pretty darn awesome) and I had fun chasing the older 3 around! Take a look...
I think this last one sums up accurately what it's like having 4 little ones 5 and under :-)
Lacy & Lzzy were gracious enough to let me take their pictures for my promo video, so I thought I'd share a few! I could not have been happier with the final product and their images will always be some of my favorites of all time, seriously!!! If you haven't yet, take a look at my promo video by clicking on the Home page scrolling down just a bit :-)
Small towns may be just that-small. BUT, they aren't lacking in the talent department! This gorgeous lady from little ol' Gordon, Nebraska has a book published and I couldn't be more proud! Take a peak and purchase your own copy here.
Here's what the back of the book looks like...
When you get your own book published, you need some headshots of course! Below are just a few of my own personal favorites :-) Thank you Amanda for asking me to do this for you.

AMAZING!!!! Seriously, this is what I love about my job. Making women feel beautiful not only on the outside (you already are) but on the inside. That's the most important aspect to me. When a woman sees what they can transform into both physically and emotionally, they are capable of ANYTHING!

These two had the right idea. Find a church in the middle of nowhere and get married there! I loved every laid-back minute of this day; just their immediate family, a glorious Sandhills day, a church and a town where the Bride's family were born and raised, and a sunset that represents this couple in every way...beautiful. I love these Sandhills and the people in it! Here's a sneak peak of their day...

Every wedding I do, I always say "this one is my favorite." But no seriously, this one really is my favorite! Probably because it's so representative of our beautiful Nebraska Sandhills. There's no place like this. I'm so happy for this couple and REALLY hope they stay in the area...we can always use more people ;-) Enjoy your sneak peak!
